Because of this, the Daintree Tropical Rainforest stood out from more than 173,000 candidate lists and was listed as the second largest irreplaceable World Heritage in the world.

Suggestion Itinerary for Skyrail Up, Scenic Railway Down:
- Drive your vehicle and park at Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal
- One-way Skyrail experience from Smithfield up to Kuranda
- Free time in Kuranda Village (recommend 2-3 hours)
- 2.00pm OR 3.30pm train from Kuranda down to Freshwater Railway Stration
- Disembark train at Freshwater Railway Station and board transfer bus to Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal
- Day concludes, depart Skyrail at your leisure
